To keep us amused, entertainment ranged from a traditional Russian tea ceremony to elementary Russian classes, a competition for the best-painted matryoshka, and – best of all – a wry talk by Larisa, our resident lecturer, entitled: “Lenin to Putin: the Alternation of Bald and Hairy Presidentsâ€.
