The gold and silver coin both share the same reverse design which features the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge cradling and gazing lovingly at their newborn baby. The image is encircled by a ribbon tied in a bow at the base and supporting a bouquet of acorns and fleur de lys – symbols from the Duke and Duchess’ Coats of Arms. The surrounding inscriptions read "In Celebration of the Birth of HRH Prince George" with the date of birth included as "22.07.2013". The Perth Mint's "P" mint mark is also included.
