Thanks for our query. This certainly sounds like an acute recurrence of your back problem probably, in view of its severity, related to a prolapsed (or slipped) disc. The severity of the symptoms warrant rather stronger painkillers than paracetamol and a referral to the musculoskeletal department at your local hospital for consideration of an epidural injection.
