Given that Rome II is only on one format and most of those sales are likely to be digital – which are not counted by this chart – gives an indication of just how well the game did. According to Chart-Track it outsold its predecessor by 4,000 units in its first week, although it’s not clear whether they mean 2011’s Total War: Shogun 2 or 2004’s Rome: Total War.
