Like it or not you are here and enjoy the life you have because of it and there is NO substitution. The alternatives are not ready for prime time and won’t be for decades. You can’t fly jets, run trains or haul goods or your carcasses for that matter on wind or solar power. It’s a pipe dream to think so. Dredging up teeny tiny bankrupt European countries to bolster the illusion that we can run a petroleum based industrialized world on wind mills is fantastically irresponsible.
