The article gives a few anecdotes about how luck affects people (and in one, long term unemployed, merely speculates about how luck might expose one to a bias which is, itself, systematic, and thus not luck or chance). It speculates how luck might be playing a bigger roll in the information age. But in the end, this article actually has no evidence what so ever that luck is the "dominant" factor. An assertion based on no evidence is not just and "exaggeration".
