What is the matter?

I’m sitting here all alone wondering what to do
Should I pick up the phone or should I wait on you
What is the matter, do you still care
Do We still matter after all that we have shared

I’m still sitting here by myself, like a doll left on a shelf
With no one to play or wipe my tears away

Well I guess you’re not alone, so I’ll just plug out the phone
If you’ve found somebody new then I’ll just forget you too
And I swear to shed no tears in spite of all we’ve shared
After all what does it matter, since you no longer care?
